Hi there! I'm Matthew Levy, a dedicated financial copywriter and content specialist. Since 2020, I've been fully committed to my writing career, crafting content for various sectors, including ETFs, mutual funds, hedge funds, payment firms, financial planners, fintech, finance websites, and AI firms. In 2010, I graduated from the University of Victoria with a BSc in Economics, focusing on finance and business. Afterward, I pursued a career in portfolio management and securities analysis. I obtained the CFA® Charter in 2015, refining my skills in managing risk-adjusted portfolios while adhering to high ethical standards.

I've successfully transitioned into the financial copywriting niche by leveraging my experience in managing over $600MM in assets, securities analysis, trading, and back-testing portfolios. My unique background in managing money, clients, and prospects, combined with technical expertise and strong soft skills, allows me to create tailored content that engages your target audience while addressing their specific needs.

In 2019, I left retail wealth management to travel but refocused on financial writing due to the pandemic. Since then, I've been working full-time as a financial writer, providing top-quality content for my clients. Now based in Western Canada, my extensive travels have given me a unique perspective on world markets.
